Practitioner Training

Thank you for your interest in the HRS Practitioner Training Program.

The HRS Practitioner Training Programme is designed for professionals and businesses involved in the specification, preparation, application or management of ground stabilisation and surface improvement projects.

Please complete the application form below so we can understand your experience, intended use of HRS and the areas of application relevant to your work.

Your application will be reviewed by the Hydro Road team before access to the HRS Practitioner Training Program is provided.

Following approval, you will be provided with details of the next steps, including enrolment and payment for the Mandatory Online HRS Practitioner Training.

We welcome requests for Hydro road samples from contractors, engineers, consultants, and public sector organisations for testing and evaluation. Organisations applying for multiple practitioners training may be eligible for tailored group arrangements. We will discuss the most appropriate option with you following review of your application.

Mandatory Online HRS Practitioner Training. Fee per participant: £395 + VAT Self-paced online training modules enable participants to complete the HRS Practitioner Training at a time and pace that suits them. The programme covers the essential knowledge required to work with Hydro Road Stabiliser (HRS), including soil assessment, ground preparation, dilution and application, compaction, curing, quality control, safety and environmental considerations. Following completion of the training, participants undertake the HRS Practitioner Assessment. Successful completion leads to the award of the HRS Practitioner Certificate. Typical completion time: one morning or afternoon.

Optional Practical On-Site Training Fee per participant: from £595 + VAT Practical, hands-on training led by a qualified HRS practitioner, providing participants with the opportunity to develop their understanding of HRS application in a real or representative site environment. Training can include practical instruction in: Ground preparation HRS dilution and application Two-pass application methodology Compaction Curing Site procedures Quality assurance and quality control The final cost will depend on the training location, format and level of practical support required. Minimum number of trainees: 5
